Our history has continued to grow with Nippon Steel Corporation, shaped by Nippon Steel Transportation, born under the name of Nittetsu Yawata Koun in December 1942. We have been active in development of the steelmaking industry, utilizing 24-hour just-in-time transportation in the vast steelmaking facilities, with the development of unmanned and automated facilities, based on advanced technology. With our underlying will to provide a quality service, combined with our original technology, we are meeting our customer's needs.

Raw materials such as iron ore and coal are unloaded by a continuous unloader and unloader crane. |
Utilizing a railway network system running throughout the steelmaking premises, molten iron, bloom, slab, billet, etc. are transported by diesel locomotive. All the production sites and logistics stations in these premises are connected with each other, working 24 hours to meet a just-in-time schedule. |

NTC supports the packing of coiled products, cutout plates, etc. by means of a unique packing technology peculiar to steel products. To prevent dew condensation or wetting, packing is made by using paper or steel materials according to the application and purpose. |
Safely, surely and speedy, we transport semi-products between plants, and carry products to warehouses and piers by the use of special vehicles (150t carrier palette, 36t vehicle). |
